Jennifer has been creative for as long as she can remember and the passion for painting spans four generations on both sides of her family, something which constantly inspires her. One of Jennifer’s ancestors Laura Muntz-Lyall was a highly regarded Canadian Impressionist painter, another ancestor Elizabeth Wood Muntz exhibited with Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore, her Great Great grandmother attended the The Slade School of Art and her grandmother was a keen watercolour painter.

After graduating from Oxford Brookes University in 2009 with a degree in Contemporary Art Jennifer moved to London to work for two International auction houses, before relocating back home to work for a local auctioneers as a cataloguer and valuer.

Jennifer is now a full time artist balancing her career with raising a family and works from her home studio, a converted stable, in North Warwickshire. Specialising in emotive landscapes Jennifer uses high quality oil paints on canvas, aluminium and wood.

Working gradually in layers Jennifer likes use a mix of classical and contemporary techniques to create beautiful, emotive compositions. The way Jennifer uses light within her paintings is part of her signature style, it pulls together the elements of the landscape and focuses the viewer, creating a sense of focus and calm.
